I am a member of the Grizzly Off Roaders, located in Grand Rapids, MN. Our club is a family oriented club. We trail ride, hill climb, rock crawl and some mud. We hold annual four wheel events in our area.

Hi my name is Don Comstock, and I am the new Trail Master for the Grizzly Off-Roaders 4X4 club. I am taking over Rob Marbles'(Ramjet) as trail master, and hope to do as good of a job as he has done in the past, in setting up our trail rides and events.

This is my '76 CJ 5!!
My CJ-5 has a 304 with a holly 500 2 barrel carb, fender well exit headers with high flow glass pack mufflers with turn outs on the ends. There is a dana 30 up front with a Detroit true track and Warren lock outs. The rear end is a AMC 20 with superior 1 piece axles. Both front and rear have 3.54 gears. There is a Dana 20 transfer case and a T150 3 speed transmission, both are stock. There is a 2 1/2 in roncho suspension lift with roncho 5000 series shocks and a 1 1/2 in. shackle lift so I can clear my 34x9.5 super swampers. I carry 2 fire extinguishers, a pack sack with a small first aid kit, extra clothes, and other goodies.

I will be putting in a dana 44 front end narrowed to match my rear end, 4.10 gears and detroit lockers both front and rear. I am going to put a terra low gear kit in my transfer case and swap out the T-150 trans for a T-18 4 speed. I also have plans for a new cam, aluminum intake,new carb and full roll cage, new bucket seats, and 5 point harness belts.
